As an artist you always have the pressure of wondering if your music is well recieved by the public. With "Good Girl Blues" being my first album, and by me putting it out independently with a shoestring almost non existent promo budget it is always refreshing to know that when fans find the music they appreciate the effort. Yesterday I recieved a message on my facebook page about my music. It touched me so i def wanted to give it some shine.
"Not that my opinion really matters, but I visited your site and listened to your songs and "I LOVE THEM!!!!!" I immediately put them on the ipod and CD..."

Today I've been fooling around with the webcam on my laptop and decided to sing a couple of my favorite songs. The weird thing about it is I quick captured them (sang them via wab cam and youtube automatically publishes them) so my vocals dont match my mouth. I thought it was kind of funny. Plus I think Im getting the sickies..Hope not but anyhoo I don't think I will use this feature anymore. Its back to the digital camera...Enjoy

Who am I listening to?
I am always trying to find music that is uniquely creative and inspiring. Music that doesnt conform or sit with the norm. When I listen to artists I wonder if we world be friends? Vibe to the same music? or party in the same spots? Her EP Metropolis is amazing and because she is releasing her album in suites it keeps you begging for more. You guys should check her out. Sincerely Jane is my fav but Many Moons is a standout as well. She is signed to...wait for it.. Bad Boy but it hasnt seemed to stifle her creativity!

I am happy to report that I recieved a new laptop for my birthday and it is helping me to stay closer to you guys so I'd say the hubby did good lol!
The listening session was great. I got some amazing feedback. I appreciate the other artists that stopped through Sunrise Studios to show support!
