Just saw "This is it" with a friend and it was so moving. Michael was amazing. I really hate that some peole didn't give this uber talented man his flowers while he was living. I really think his tour would have been one of the most amazing shows ever seen. I really love how his main objective was for others to feel his music. His talent was undeniable. I loved every second.

Good Hair?
I am really excited to watch Chris Rock's new comedy Good Hair about black women and their views on hair. I as well as a lot of women sometimes find ourselves going along with what society has told us is "good hair". I love singers like Solange Knowles who are bold enough to let weaves and wigs go (if only for a moment) and embrace their natural beauty. When my new single "Forever Love" is released December 1st, I will def have a new look (new hair included)... Not sure if I will be bold eough to let go of my relaxer though :)

The world has suffered a great loss today! Michael Jackson has passed away and it has not only impacted the music community but the world as a whole. His fan base spanned accross color lines, religions, and languages! He was such an inspiration to me and my music and it is such a sad day...I hope everyone is celebrating his life and legacy!

How long did it take for you to make this album?
Although the project is 4 years in the making. It took me 1 year to complete.
What inspired you to create the Good Girl Blues album?
I wanted to make an album that all people could relate to. It is also like my love lifes autobiography.
Who is better beyonce or solange?
Ha! Umm Im a fan of both and i like them for different reasons so I think they are both great!
Whats your favorite song on your cd?
Its a tie between Exclusively & Gerrale (in Love)
What took u so damn long to put the cd out?
Wow! It was a process. I am unsigned right now so I had to make it right!
Why did you chose the genre Neo soul?
I wouldn't say it is neo soul..more like contemporary R&B.

Did you watch this weekend? I know you did! I performed 3 songs live from my debut album "Good Girl Blues" on Alternative Scream TV (Comcast Channel 17 or hmstv.org! It was a lot of fun and I appreciated them for allowing me to perform and promote my album on their show. Bohemeos...Yesterday
I performed new songs from the album live yesterday for the first time to a great crowd. We had a good time and the crowd was energized.. Good Girl Blues was a standout favorite amongst the ladies and the entire crowd really liked Move On...

As an artist you always have the pressure of wondering if your music is well recieved by the public. With "Good Girl Blues" being my first album, and by me putting it out independently with a shoestring almost non existent promo budget it is always refreshing to know that when fans find the music they appreciate the effort. Yesterday I recieved a message on my facebook page about my music. It touched me so i def wanted to give it some shine.
"Not that my opinion really matters, but I visited your site and listened to your songs and "I LOVE THEM!!!!!" I immediately put them on the ipod and CD..."

Why so soon?
Some people have asked my why I am releasing a full length album so soon after my EP. I can only say...cuz I want to! No just kidding. My EP was always supposed to serve as a teaser to the full length album to be released sometime this summer. The EP was released digitally only via a few select retailers while the full length album will be released to all major digital retailers as well as some brick and mortar stores. I have really recieved a lot of great feedback regarding the EP and the only complaint was that there were not enough songs. I can't wait for you guys to hear my album. I am heavily influenced by the sounds of blues, jazz, RnB, and of course neo-soul. One of my favorite blues singers is Etta James. Her voice was so real and beautiful. Below I have a video of myself singing All I could do was cry by Etta James! Enjoy!
